Baseball Advances
Congratulations to the Varsity Baseball Team on advancing to the Sectional Final which will be held at Valley High School on Wednesday, May 15th. The Hounds defeated Portsmouth-Clay by a score of 12-5 to move on. Great Job Hounds!
Hounds Make All-Conference
Congratulations to the following Spring Sports athletes on making the All-Conference Team in the S.H.A.C.:
Boys Track – Jordan Freeman (400 Meter Dash)
Girls Track – Carlie Deal (Discus Throw) & Tess Burns (Long Jump)
Baseball – Marshall Spencer
Softball – Morgan Johnson & Brooke Henley
These young men and women will be recognized at the High School S.H.A.C. Spring Sports Awards Night located at Fairfield HS on Tuesday, May 28that 7:00 PM. The S.H.A.C. Spring Sports Awards had to be moved due to make-up and tournament games being scheduled on Monday, May 20th.

The MHS Baseball Team will be taking on Portsmouth Clay in Sectional Tournament Play on Monday, May 13th. The contest will be played at Clay and begins at 5:00 PM. The winner faces Valley at 5:00 PM on Wednesday, May 15th at Valley.
The MHS Softball Team will be taking Green in Sectional Tournament Play on Wednesday, May 15th. The contest will be played at Green and begins at 5:00 PM. The winner faces Fairfield at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 18th at Fairfield.

Sports Physicals
Manchester Local Schools will be conducting sports physicals on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 for students currently in grades 6 through 11 who are interested in participating in athletics during the 2013-2014 seasons. Forms will made available in the MES & MHS Offices as time draws nearer to the date.
