Maysville Community and Technical College Art Show

Congratulations to Manchester High School Senior Kaige Cox for receiving 3rd place in the Maysville Community and Technical College Art Show! 


The show had 51 pieces of artwork from 20 high school students spread throughout the region. Kaige’s “Logic” oil painting was on displayed in the lobby of the Calvert Center of Maysville Community and Technical College (MCTC) for part of November and December. 

Art Show at the Cox Gallery

MHS students took part in the Ohio River Valley Artists Guilds (ORVAG) art show at the Cox Gallery located on the second floor of the Cox building. Parents and community members had first glance of the exhibit on opening night, February 2, 2018. The exhibit will be on displayed for the month of February. 


Students who participated in the art show are:

MLSD Treasurer, Ms. Karen Ballengee, will retire after many years of service to public education, including 14 years as a Greyhound.  Ms. Ballengee will be missed by the staff, students, and community.  We all wish her the very best as she enjoys retirement.

Manchester Students Shined at the Brown County Tim Tebow A Night to Shine
A Night To Shine was held on Friday, February 9th, 2018, at the Georgetown Church of Christ.  Seven current and former students and their respective guest attended the event.  The students walked the red carpet, had professional pictures and a photo booth, as well as dinner and dancing.  At the end, all were crowned king or queen and given a sash to make it official.
